我们谨代表“2008(第三届)年美国宾夕法尼亚大学暑期体验培训项目”主办方，诚挚邀请您了解并参与此次赴美暑期大学体验培训项目的活动。

本次培训项目是由成立于1740年，美国八所“常青藤”大学之一的美国宾夕法尼亚大学教育学院国际项目发展办公室发起，并与里程碑国际有限公司、中教国际教育交流中心共同主办的。在整个培训期间，我们将为那些渴望获得未来海外学习经验的年轻学者提供一个内容充实、有趣并富有教育意义的美国暑期生活。在16天的项目活动中，学员将可以接受到五个相关领域的专业知识的综合培训和实践：

● 英语语言学习
● 美国大学准备课程
● 未来精英领导培训与实践
● 美国历史文化介绍/ 实地参观
● 志愿者服务/ 社区活动

作为项目参与者，您将体验到真正的美国大学生活，食宿在美国大学，并且还会参观美国的宾夕法尼亚大学，哥伦比亚大学，纽约大学，普林斯顿大学等数所美国的著名大学，参加由美国大学招生办公室举办的美国大学准备课程培训；此外，学员还将亲身体验美国文化并参观著名的美国城市和标志性景点，如纽约市的自由女神像、华尔街、联合国；美国国家诞生地费城；以及美国首都华盛顿。通过与当地年轻人的直接交流与互动，学员可以更好的了解东西方文化的传统与差异。

Dear prospective students and future young leaders,
The Organizational committee of “2008 (The 3rd Session) American Summer Enrichment Program” would like to invite you to join our exciting and unforgettable trip to the United States.

This training program started by the International Programs of the Graduate School of Education at University of Pennsylvania, which established in 1740, one of the eight “Lvy League” schools. This program is operated together with Milestone International Co. Ltd. and China Center for International Educational Exchange. During the whole training period, we will prepare a very exciting and special program with tailored curriculum for outstanding Chinese young scholars who desire for overseas educational experience in the future. During this16days’multi-dimensional program, all the students will learn special knowledge and enjoy comprehensive training and practice in five cross-related sections:

● English Language Study
● American College Preparation
● Young Leader Training and Practice Workshops
● American Culture Study and Historic Site Visits
● Community Services and Volunteer Activities

As participant of the program, you will experience genuine American college life, take accommodation in American college and take visit of many famous American universities, such as University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, New York University and Princeton University and so on; take participate in special college preparation courses held by universities’ admission offices. In addition, participants will explore American culture and visit well-known American cities and landmarks, such as Statue of Liberty, Wall Street and the Untied Nations in New York City; the nations' birth place, Philadelphia, and the United States’ Capital-Washington D.C. Students will gain better understanding on cultural difference between east and west through their direct interactions with young Americans.

As the main operator of the program, we understand the depth meaning for Chinese students through the former two session training programs. Lots of excellent Chinese students have been entered into the well-known American Universities smoothly after their training program in the former two sessions.

As our tracking research, some normal participants of the former sessions also achieved great progress after they went back to China.
